Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Most are plumbing, not surveillance. Here's exactly what this site uses.
What we use
- Strictly necessary. Basics that make the site work, for example remembering a dismissed notice so it doesn't nag on every page. No consent needed because the site doesn't function properly without them.
- Fonts. This site loads typefaces from Google Fonts; that service may set its own technical cookies or log standard request data under its own policy.
- Analytics (privacy-friendly, if enabled). Basic aggregate figures, pages viewed, device type, country-level location, to see what helps. We aim for tools that don't profile individuals or feed ad networks; if a more intrusive tool is ever introduced, this page changes and consent is asked first.
- Forms. If you submit the free-draft form, the delivery service may set technical cookies to process the submission, covered in our privacy policy.
What we don't use
No advertising trackers, no social-media pixels, no selling or sharing of browsing data. Tree surgeons book the first firm that answers, we don't need to follow anyone around the internet to earn that call.
Your controls
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the site; blocking analytics changes nothing you'd notice.
Changes
If what we use changes, this page changes with it and the date above moves.
