This policy explains what personal data SiteReady (“we”, “us”) collects through this website and the enquiry forms we build for clients, why we collect it, and what rights you have.
Who we are
SiteReady is a small web studio building websites for tree surgery businesses. We work remotely; everything is done online. Contact: info@sitereadyzm.com. We are the data controller for information sent to us through this site.
What we collect and why
Free-draft / enquiry form on this site
- Business name, contact name, email address, to prepare your draft and reply to you (required).
- Phone, current website, town or service area, social profile, main services, package and care-plan preference, message, optional details that make the draft more useful.
Lawful basis: steps taken at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
Quote-request forms on client websites
Where we build an enquiry form for a client, it collects the customer's name, contact details, postcode or location, job description and any uploaded photos. That data belongs to the client's business; we process it on their behalf so the enquiry reaches them. Photos may incidentally show people or property and are used only to assess the job.
Missed-call text-back (optional add-on)
If configured for a client, the system texts back only people who called that client first, collecting the caller's number and any reply content they choose to send. It is not a marketing list and must not be used as one.
Website visits
We may use basic, privacy-friendly analytics (pages viewed, device type, country-level location) to understand what works. Cookie details are in our cookie notice.
Sharing
Only with processors needed to operate: hosting, form delivery, email and (where configured) messaging providers, under contract. We do not sell personal data.
Retention
- Enquiries: as long as needed to serve the enquiry, then pruned (we review at least yearly).
- Analytics: aggregate, typically no longer than 14 months.
- Project material: for the life of the agreement, then handed over or deleted on request.
Your rights (UK GDPR)
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. Email us and we'll action valid requests without undue delay, generally within one month. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
International transfers
We work remotely and some tools may process data outside the UK. Where that happens we rely on UK-approved transfer mechanisms and say so on request.
Security and changes
HTTPS, limited access, regular updates, and no data lingering in random spreadsheets. If this policy changes materially, the date above changes and we say what moved.
