These terms cover the services SiteReady (“we”, “us”) provides to tree surgery businesses (“you”, “the client”): website design and builds, optional monthly care plans, and optional add-ons such as missed-call text-back and Google Business Profile assistance. By instructing us to begin work beyond the free draft, you agree to these terms and the written project agreement for your job.
1. The free draft
The draft is free and carries no obligation on either side. It is a concept for discussion, not a finished product, not a licence, and not for publication. If we part ways after the draft, we delete your material and you owe us nothing.
2. The build
- Scope and agreement. Work begins only after a clear written agreement covering pages, deliverables, price and schedule. Agreed scope changes are quoted separately before being done.
- Your part. You provide content, photographs you have the right to use, verified business details, and any access needed (domain, hosting, Google Business Profile). Delays in providing these move the schedule, and that is not a failure on our side.
- Our part. We build, test the important functions, and prepare launch. Typical timing is around 7 days after we have required content, access and approvals, a target governed by the written agreement, not an unconditional guarantee.
- Revisions. Two rounds on Starter; the agreed allowance on larger scopes. Post-launch changes fall under a care plan or are quoted separately.
- Accuracy. You are responsible for the truth and legality of published content, including insurance levels, accreditations and any claims about your work.
3. Prices, payment, taxes
- Build prices are one-off and shown in pounds (£). Current published prices: Starter £399 during the founding-client offer (standard £499 afterwards), Growth £599, Custom from £899.
- 50% deposit to begin. The remaining 50% is due before launch. Invoices are payable within 7 days.
- Any applicable taxes and third-party charges will be disclosed in your quotation. We make no VAT statements beyond your written quotation.
4. Care plans (optional)
Essential Care (£29/month) and Complete Care (£49/month) are optional subscriptions, separate from the build. Billing is monthly from your start date. Cancel any time by email; the plan runs to the end of the paid month. Unused edit time does not roll over. Hosting is included only where the specific hosting cost and arrangement are confirmed in your agreement; domain renewals and third-party subscriptions are separate unless specified. Major redesigns, new pages, extensive copywriting and new functionality are quoted separately. Stated response targets (two working days on Essential, one on Complete) are response targets, not guaranteed resolution times.
5. Ownership
On payment of the final balance, the website design and content built for you belong to your business, and we provide source files on request. Your domain remains yours. Third-party licences (fonts, tools, services) and any hosting arrangement are identified in your written agreement. We may show screenshots of the work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
6. Add-ons and third-party services
Missed-call text-back depends on telephone networks, messaging providers and your phone configuration, none of which we control. We check compatibility before quoting, configure carefully and test, but we do not guarantee that every call triggers a message, any delivery time, or universal device compatibility, and we make no promises about recovered jobs. You remain responsible for your own compliance with UK communications rules for messages sent to your customers.
7. Liability
We do careful work and put mistakes right. Our total liability for claims connected to these services is limited to amounts paid to us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
8. Cancellation of a build
If you cancel after work begins, the deposit covers work done to that point and is non-refundable. If we cancel, we refund payments for undelivered work.
9. General
These terms are governed by the laws of the part of the UK where you trade, applied sensibly for a remote service. If any clause is unenforceable, the rest stands. The current version always lives on this page with its date.
